Australiasian Darter bird

These birds fully immerse their bodies under water and you only see their long, sinuous neck and head protruding above the water. When on the ground they can be seen extending their wings to dry. 
Also, couldn’t resist a pelican shot and one of a small duck. Taken at Clem Walton Park, between Cloncurry and Mt. Isa, Queensland.
