Frosty

The day started crisp, so I spent the first half of the morning on the sofa, reading Barack Obama and occasionally looking out at this view.

Then the sun arrived and it was almost warm by mid-afternoon. We pootled about on the beach near Kakanui and collected a huge box of seaweed which will be spread over the asparagus bed tomorrow. It is fantastic compost.

I received an acknowledgement from Jacinda’s office that my letter has arrived (see yesterday). I await a full response in due course…
