Fair To Middling

A change of routes today, with more cloud cover it was safer to take Arlo out in the open although the sun did catch us every so often, On the lunctime walk we came across a dead cow on it's side with a little calf snuggled in, it was sad. I called the farmer who later sorted it all out and fed it. It's a popular place to walk so I am assuming mama must have died earlier in the day :-/ Shortly after that event I threw Arlo's frisbee on top of an 8 foot high field hedge and returned for the evening walk with a ladder to retrieve it, all good now, but I might take a different walk next time!!
