The elephant in the room …
Today’s outing was one of the sculpture trails we love so much , this one fairly local in Worcester, it’s elephants. After the trails finish the sculptures get auctioned off for the charity the organisation supports . Worcester is also the birthplace of Edward Elgar who penned that rousing little ditty ‘Land of hope and glory ‘ … my brother and I were convinced that the line ‘butter on the beach ‘ was written in to it .. apparently this is not the case . Shame .
We have with us some of the usual suspects .once again I really could have blipped a good dozen or so photos . The cathedral for one , or Elgar’s house and a pigeon having a poo on Elgar’s statues head . Maybe I shall go back to Worcester and revisit those things .
