From the hotel dining room

What a treat to have breakfast cooked for me two days in a row at the hotel! And we had a lovely view - this blip was literally snapped through the glass while we were sat at the table. I liked the way the sun was shining on the little island of Shuna making it look almost yellow.

Enjoyed a walk round the bay before heading to the car. Got back home late afternoon, had a cup of tea and then headed off to my parents to collect Daisy. Realised we’d actually driven right across Scotland today from the West coast to the East Coast! It’s something like 140 miles but takes a while with all the winding roads. Anyway, happy to be back safe and sound from our travels as there have been lots of accidents these last few days.
