New Rockery

I have planted a new rockery bed over the last couple of days. Such hard work on the arms and shoulders! It took around 14 bags of grit and compost.
The front garden we have inherited only had asroturf, and after much thought and consideration, we have decided to keep some of it and dig two large borders, one which is the rockery and the other, nearer to the house, has been planted with perennials.
