Pattern making!

I’m experimenting to see if I can create a ‘flat pattern’ from my 3D mid size top hat block, as would love to make one in Sudbury silk for my trip to the British Library.

Was trying to explain this to Dorsetb, but I think the picture might help.

I’ve covered my block with cling film, then duck tape, then parcel tape, then will cut along the centre back to flatten out..

Let’s see what happens.
