Wednesday: Jolly Nice

My sleep is all over the place - waking up at about 0200 and not able to get back to sleep.  Still, I know from experience that we’ll come through the other side.  Well, I say ‘we’ - K. is having no such issues!

We had a good full day today.  We started off on Rodborugh Common where we were pelted with rain (it’s been the typical 4 seasons in one day experience today), before heading to the ‘Jolly Nice’ farm shop (where this was taken).  Great stuff and K has bought in supplies for tomorrow’s breakfast.

Lunch at the local food market before going on a good long canal walk to ‘Stroud Brewery’.  We walked back and finished up in an excellent Japanese restaurant - it’s been a good day with lots of laughs.  My uncle, who died in March, was Joe’s dad and they were very close so I think this has done us all good.
