"It brings out the colours"

It s what we tend to say when it walking in the rain. 
It accentuates the textures too. This old willow log looked unremarkable when we passed it last week but wow it looks amazing in the rain. It's as if someone has taken a pen and drawn on it.  Taken with my phone as it's easier to keep dry than my dslr.

Hard for us all to keep dry. Fletch did have his rain coat today so he wasnt quite as wet as yesterday.  My Sprayway rain pants let in at the knee.  I should have worn the cheap ones I bought years ago which have remained 100% waterproof. Dearer is not always better.

Another wet day forecast tomorrow so I'll be having a soggy walk round Ulverston while M visits the dentist.  

So much cooler today at 14 degrees. It is hard to imagine that this time last week it was 29 degrees!
Todays AT prompt is summery/ wintery which definitely  sums up the  weather over the last week.
