Architectural plants

With nothing other than nettles and bramlbes ten years ago, we planted some small trees. They are now reaching maturity and, to my eyes, are giving the area some shape and more importantly shade.
On phoning French telecom about yesterday's non-appearance, I was told that he had been working in the valley sorting out our line. I did mange to mention that it was still not working and was told he would be returning today.
The evening phone call from them said that the line was now fixed but as I foolishly thought I had had explained before, a defunct modem meant that we can still access nothing. A trip to Aubenas tomorrow to replace the aforementioned box is now part of our schedule.
