Venice on the Med

I first discovered this place nearly half a century ago. I thought it was stunning, but very much a playground for the wealthy. Now, deluged by tourists, it has become (at least, during the season) unbearable. But if you get up early enough, as Daftie demands, then you get to see it like this again.
