Boots

The March challenge continues with "shoes". This family is 3/4 male so not much in the way of exotic female footwear for blipping I'm afraid.

I had intended to blip my wonderful Hawkins boots, but they are somewhere in the mountain of clobber in the front shed. Why do families always have mountains of clobber? Or is it just us - surely not?

These boots were bought to replace my now badly repaired and therefore leaky Hawkins. They are good - Brasher boots. They immediately got borrowed by a teenage Mr H to go trekking in the Himalayas up to Ladakh.

How come the youngsters do all the fantastic trips and the parents don't - but the parents do get to pay for them? Or is it just us - surely not?

Anyway - I really like these boots, they've become more battered than they should be for their age (like me) but they have done some serious walking.
