Jan - Taking it Easy

I don't get many pictures like this, and indeed, Jan was only here for a few minutes before she got bored and leapt to her feet!
Earlier in the day our whole group had taken a walk to a bird-watching tower a little up the river. It had been a warm walk in the blazing sun, and everyone chose the shady side of the road!
After the walk we had Jan's scones and Claire's strawberry jam, made with the abundance of strawberries in her garden. We finished off our Mexican Train game from the night before and Mikael was the winner by one point! Then the guests started to head off for home until it was just the three of us left. Well, four if we include Rusty, which we should of course, see extra.
We took it easy the rest of the day, finishing off the day watching the impressive and beautiful film "Nomad".
