Rainbow island

We headed to the coffee time with some of the English speaking church guys - most have lived here since the 70s. It feels good to have deepening friendships with English speakers who have been, and are, here very long term. One of the women's husband had been a photographer before he passed away and she still has some of his equipment, so she gave Asha a lens (28-90mm) and a proper camera bag. Ash was delighted!! One of the other women sent us hone with duck eggs and lemon marmalade! 
Danny went off to see Ricardo and sort some bits out. The rest of us spray painted bags and made more of these cards...now with a touch of gold too. So much fun. 

Today I'm grateful for;
1) The kindness of the English speaking folks. So welcoming, so hilarious, so kind. 
2) Danny sorting all sorts of headachy life admin things.
3) Asha's delight re spray painting.
