Long Bridge
Barnstaple's Long bridge is a medieval bridge. When exactly it was built is unclear but around 1250 AD. It has 16 masonry arches giving a total length of 522 ft.
Bideford, 10 miles away, also has a medieval bridge.
When I popped down town today I noticed the yarn bombing along the riverside walk. No idea why they're there - but they add a splash of colour.
