2404. Black Watch Museum

We had our grandson with us for the day today so after a quick shopping trip to get a few bits and pieces, we headed to the library and then over to the Black Watch Museum.  This sculpture is the D Day: Soldiers of Sacrifice. It’s on show at the museum for a few weeks and depicts the first soldier to die during the D Day landings.  It’s an amazing sculpture and one of the museum staff was on hand to explain it all to my grandson.  We had a great tour of the museum and he thoroughly enjoyed himself!

Lunch followed by a bus home to wait for Mom and Dad to pick him up.
