Claremont Gardens summer fun!

It’s a while since I have been to Claremont but went today with youngest grandson who is 2 while his Mum did something else. I was impressed with the range of activities they had set out round the gardens called ‘ 2021 Claremont Championships ‘  for children . I guess it’s to tie in with the Olympics. The two we had a go at  were quoits and ‘ hobby horse gymkhana’ . If you complete 6 you can get a Claremont Champion Medal. ( see extra) . I think they have a very good activities coordinator at this NT garden….better than at some of the others near us,

Very busy by 10.30 and lots of families seemed to make a beeline for the regular children’s playground rather than go round the grounds doing these activities!! Maybe too much effort required from the parents?!
