Not at the movies

The plan was to go to the cinema VUE in Hoogezand this evening. I ordered 4 tickets online for the movie 'De Slag om de Schelde'. Although this movie was 16+ (and Daan is 15+ at the moment) I took the risk and bought tickets anyway.

Well, that was a mistake. Both Bas and Daan were asked to show their ID on entrance, and of course we didn't have that with us, on purpose.
What a bummer, but of course we were on the wrong end here, so no discussion. We gambled and lost. We got our money back and our movie time went up in smoke in an instant.

What could we do now? None of us wanted to go home already. A terrace in Groningen maybe? Nah.
Bas came up with the idea of going to IKEA instead. We all agreed and within 20 minutes I parked my car underneath the big store.
On our way in, we bumped into Herman and Hanny and had a short chat. That was a nice intermezzo. I hadn't seen Herman for way too long.

Once inside IKEA we got some small things and just before closing time 20.50 we were back in the car, going home.
