Swedish garden
What a fab day we’ve had. Starting with a quick coffee, then a one and a half hour walk around Ronneby Brun park. Amazing place with almost Victorian style spa town buildings, Japanese garden, woodland walks and lakes, duck pond, rose garden etc. of course this was all for Janno, the dog. Afterwards a lovely brunch, outside in a perfect 24 deg C morning. I made a tour of the garden, which was filled with hidden gems, hundred year old trees, and surrounded by huge wide dry stone walls. after, we set off in the car, a Volvo of course, to a little lake higher up on the Ronneby river. It was a fab picnic place and a lovely place to swim, sun bathe and chat.
In the evening we had a great fish dinner, then played Königspiel or Kub out on the garden. The one you through pieces of wood to knock over other wood on the field. It was highly competitive, ladies against gents or Italy/England against Sweden/NZ, so incredibly funny and our ladies team won the overall champion spot.
