Taking Shelter

This was taken this morning when the weather was fluctuating between rain and snow. This blackbird took shelter under the trees sitting on this planter. He sat for ages - as did I watching him and taking shots through the window. I don't think either of us wanted to venture any further! Eventually he moved on - as did I though I'm not sure I achieved very much today. Tonight it's a whiteout. Hoping this wee fellow and all the other little critters out there are safe and warm.
