… Yellow Leaved Elderflower behind the scaffolding … weather permitting, scaffolding supposed to be dismantled tomorrow.
Builders here early as usual, finished off last little jobs. Slate missing from roof was replaced. Cladding was given a good wash, paths on this side of the house washed too! Weather too changeable to cement the chimney, it would have got washed off …
Heavy rain finally arrived at 12:30, our little mountain had disappeared under mist - sure sign!!
Rain and odd claps of thunder until 4pm, when MrD returned from his motorbike ride - they'd been in the mountains and seen a lot of flooding.
For dinner this evening I picked 2 small courgette from the garden which I sliced with shop tomatoes and 2 small fried eggs, very tasty with boiled local new potatoes.
