Rainbow Evening

Thank goodness this happened tonight, busy day after the holiday. The garden had gone into overdrive whilst I was away: potatoes, various beans, broccoli, corgettes, salad …. all had to be picked, cooked, blanched, eaten. The American family (all 8 of them) arrive on Friday so lots to prepare. After having to cancel last year it is 3 years since we have seen everyone together. The children are now adults, so amazing! The yoga room becomes a dortoir, the downstairs kitchen needs organising and stocking, etc. etc. The cats are speaking to me again, so sweet they are, however their presents of mice at 6am are not what I expected as a welcome home!

Sorry I am not able to comment much at the moment, we all have periods like that I guess.
