No, it’s not a buddleia

But I thought it was when I bought the tiny plant at Elford in the early Spring. 

It’s very different now it’s growing up. I did a bit of a search as I’d lost the little label.

I think it’s Lysimachia Clethroides - gooseneck loosestrife. 

I’m rather taken with it.

Weather today ? We’ve still only had droplets and light drizzle up here. When I drove down into Lichfield this morning they’d clearly had heavy rain.

We could hear the thunder last night but it wasn’t over us.

It’s still humid and we’re promised rain later. 

It’s certainly an odd summer……
