In The Occupied Territory

Wild is the Wind

Had to nip into Aberdeen today to exchange some of the bedding we bought yesterday.
The Bedspread was too large and the matching curtains was too small.
Banal stuff really, but part of life's necissities.
But what wasn't banal. was the waterfront.
The wind was really wild, and the waves, although not overly huge, were pretty powerful.
I parked the car on the promenade, and struggled through the wind, down onto the level just before the sand to get a few shots taken. If you look closely at the right hand lighthouse in the distance, you can see the waves crashing over the pier it sits on.
