A covid walk

We can still take our exercise with one other person as long as we don't stray beyond 10km so today the walking buddy was The Other M. He lives near the Sir Joseph Banks Park where he and other volunteers have done a lot of weed removal and general cleaning up of the wetlands. The park runs near Botany Bay, Sydney's main cargo seaport.

The land adjacent to Botany Bay was settled for many thousands of years by the Tharawal and Eora peoples. Botany Bay was also Captain Cook's landing place on reaching Australia in 1770.

The main shows M, looking tiny in the distance, at the end of my favourite footbridge leading from the park to the bay. The extra shows a view of cargo from the end of the bridge.

Tomorrow we get an update on the lockdown. I'm not hopeful for greater freedoms. Thanks for hosting osuzanna and stay well all.
