Fading marigold

The marigold seeds that our daughter gave me for Mother's Day have bloomed beautifully and are quite different from any that I've planted before. The flowers look really interesting as they fade, I think, and have a unique seed pod. Maybe I'll be able to save some of the seeds for nest year.
