It pays off!

All the hard work of raking up everything that's been cut in the autumn to prevent the soil being improved which encourages grass growth pays off on days like today when it's a sea of wild carrot, knapweed, field scabious etc.

The extra is a flower from a straw thistle (viscous buggers.)

After my normal day I did a couple of hours pruning hedges for the lovely old guy, who will soon be a regular customer, before having a cuppa with RF.
