The blue light

In the old days they used to have a blue lamp to signify a police station, so I suppose that this is the modern equivalent, I know which I prefer!

Anyway, I always feel reassured when I pass a police station, problem is that never seen to be open for many hours nowadays. My local police station only seems to be open in the daytime, so I suppose it is too bad if you want to report a crime outside opening hours.

Enough of me jabbering on ... I am just heading off to watch some telly, maybe 'Juliet Bravo' or 'The Gentle Touch' ...
