Chalkwell Hare

We missed out on all the rain and storms yesterday here in our little bit of Essex, and seeing some of the flooding footage online from London I'm very glad we did!

An overcast but humid start to the week here so we headed out for a walk from Old Leigh to Chalkwell, and back!, as there are 2 more of the Southend hares on display at Chalkwell, along with a rather striking art installation which was a nice find. Not many people about either so that is always nice! And the coke and chips we had on our slow walk back were very welcomed!!
