In the rain

The promised threatened rain finally came this afternoon, so I hunted around the house for an umbrella (I have accumulated a number, but for the moment they had hidden themselves from me!), and dashed out for some "raindrops on roses" images.

In the end I settled for this close-up of one of the tiny flowers on a tall verbascum flower stem ... I just love the hairy centre.
