Starbank and the Minky
Another fine day and across the road the beach looked busier than ever. But I was out in the garden after a trip to Craigleith. We have wasps, y’see. But not for much longer, hopefully. Some cutting back to be done beside the steps. A bumper crop of gooseberries to harvest. And then a meet up with the daughter and the minky at Starbank Park where I did Grandad things.
Later, a film: Oslo, August 31st. Perfectly done and the alienation made so real and tangible, with only one minor quibble in that you’ll have burnt your bridges with your old friends, and you'll be given a wide berth, not warmly welcomed. These things I have known.
