UPLIFTING DAY

Being prevented from singing in church has been one of the hardest things I’ve missed during this last 20 months. Today we were allowed!!! 10,000 Reasons was a perfect hymn too. In fact along with a few others I was moved to tears. So grateful to be emerging from the other side.
Masks were optional but many had chosen to keep wearing them. Also we were allowed to share the peace if we felt comfortable.
Today was also our church Patronal Day….coffee after church, picnic (I missed as The Rev had sorted dinner) but we came up to listen to the excellent Shanty Men, share informal worship and a BBQ. I think everyone was as sensible as could be but easy to forget the numbers are still high.

Shocked to hear 100s of hospital staff have chosen not to have the jab!

Bless to have had such a good day with only the odd shower until the end. Had to laugh as we sung about Gods thunder…it arrived :))
