Agate

It has been another scorcher here on the coast.  Stupidly I got rather caught by the sun yesterday so had to spend much of the day sheltering from the sun.. 
The evening was perfect... the wind dropped and with the sun lowering in the sky we went off to find some agates.  I hadn't done this for many years but it was always an exciting time to go with my mother when I was a child.  Tonight this beauty jumped off the beach at me and I am thrilled.  What a find. .. Mum would have been just as excited as me!!
Home for mac cheese ... comfort on a plate!
