Making A Splash

Danny started the day with an early prayer walk with Marcial...in the end that didn't happen but he bumped into Sole so the 2 of them had coffee together! 
I watched the 8,30 livestream from SCBC...the gratefuls scavenger hunt really caught Asha's imagination - thanks Cath!
Early afternoon we headed to Nata & Merino's pool. They'd got some of their niece and nephews with them (one of whom - on the right - is in Asha & Jose's class) so that added extra fun for the kids. Such a lovely time with them - and loads of photos taken of them jumping in at different times and in different ways. 

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Different ways of praying.
2) Hearing Enya playing from somewhere as I hung out the washing tonight. I just love love love her music...it kind of made me feel a bit homesick too though. It was music my Mom and Dad played a lot when I was growing up. 
3) Friendship with Natalia and Merino. So many of our English speaking friends are leaving the island, I feel extra grateful for those friendships with people who have deep several-generation-back roots in Ibiza.
