Early morning hack
One of the huge benefits of the lockdowns has been having the time and inclination to walk just about every day. Visiting the nearby river meadow very regularly has meant that since starting with my blip journal I’ve seen it frozen, flooded, flowering and now harvested. Last week the grass and meadowsweet was cut; the scent from the drying hay was heady, definitely intensified by the heatwave. Today I found that the hay had been baled and now the meadow is a massive flat expanse of green, just perfect for an early morning gallop. I must admit to feeling quite envious!
