Flood!

Rain water up to the damp proof course on the garage and pouring out of drain gullies. 30mm in an hour. Camping stuff, bike kit and boat sails all soaking wet with three inches of water in the garage. Thankfully M&J were here and moved most of the stuff to safety - couldn’t have managed without them. Worse still is the water under the utility room raised floor, should really open it up to dry it out.
We can’t claim on the house insurance because the insurer will refuse to cover us come renewal. This has happened to several people in our village.
