Beach Volleyball Final

The women's final was underway as I walked by the beach volleyball this afternoon. I paused to watch as the pair in orange won comfortably 2-0 (21-14, 21-12). Local pairing Mel Coutts and Lynne Beattie might well have given them a strong challenge but had to withdraw from their local UK Tour event in order to compete in Bulgaria in a World Tour event.
