Hazy sunshine

The heat has returned but it is not as hot as it was and is quite bearable. We said goodbye to David and Lesley at today's service as they finally return to the UK. We will be helping them with the removals at the end of the week. If anyone knows of a replacement retired volunteer chaplain willing to take the reins please let me know! Unfortunately, we cannot offer a stipend or accommodation, only expenses so a replacement will be extremely difficult to find. All we can offer is a spectacular environment and an enthusiastic congregation! In the afternoon we dismantled the art exhibition. Only three of our number sold anything but Mrs TT and I were both chuffed as we both sold some art for the first time. We can now call ourselves artistes peintres!!
