New Flat

Child 2 is in the process of moving to a new flat in a city, and I was up seeing it for the first time today. This is the view from the street looking up to the windows of the flat. The flat’s nice - much nicer than any I ever lived in at that stage in my life, and the ‘hood looks interesting enough without crossing the line into ‘dodgy’. It was nice to see it and reflect on what an exciting time it can be for a young person leaving home for the first time, and spreading their wings.
