Meet Luna

This is our new grand dog. She is a 9 week old Cocker Spaniel and arrived yesterday while we were minding the boys. She is very soft. 

I think she will grow up tough but with heaps of love. Our son and his wife are as excited as the kids I think. Elijah spent half the morning in the new dog cage ( the dog wasn’t in there at the time). I should have had it yesterday for him to play in….

Covid lockdown continues for many. 2 more deaths today including a 30year old woman. Such a loss for their families and friends. At least we can go out with restrictions and masks. There is a limit of 5 visitors to a home. We can visit our family but they can’t visit us ( because there are six of them). 

I didn’t really do much today. Did a quick 10 minute trip into the supermarket and have done another online shop for later on in the week for the staples. We had brunch with the family and cooked roast chicken for dinner. That’s about it. 

The weather was awful, we got up to 6° but it felt like sub zero temps.  A few flakes of snow fell and splotchy rain. A good day to be inside. There is a severe weather warning for high winds.
