Deal pier

Yesterday we decided to pop down to Deal for a few days as a break from the cloying heat in London; it is always about 4 ° cooler here on the coast. It rained over night so it is indeed fresher and cooler.
I strolled over to the beach this morning, the sea was a jigsaw of blues, all in the silvery range and matching the sky, to my left Deal pier was stretching out into the sea with Ramsgate in the distance.
