Red Sky in The Morning ...

And yes it was and unusually to the East and what followed was a battle of the clouds which the Northerly won.
This is not at all unusual (the wind battle not the sky) for Wanaka and Southerly conditions often don't make it to the lake. It's now late afternoon and the Northerly cloud has won and its overcast but warmer than usual. Our school holidays are ending and The Bosses and Boss went for a Coffee at a popular Cafe and were the only folk there, so things might be a tad quieter which is perfectly fine with them.
Meanwhile the extra was looking the other way a tad earlier
