He was sitting

very low on the water's edge, among the greenery..and I had to be careful where I put my feet because they had mowed the sides and left the clippings on top of the reeds and nettles that hung over the water and that can give you a false impression that that's still the waterfront...one step too far and I'd end up in the water and that's okay with me but I don't think my camera would have survived this.... no summer’s day today but overcast and rain in the afternoon
