Sizzling Saturday

Another scorcher!

While it was pleasantly cool this morning, friend Nancy and I walked up to Doyles for coffee and catch-up, then this afternoon, all greased up in Factor 30 sunscreen, I had a walk along the Fintry road, which was where I spied this mare and foal. I'm wondering if they're Clydesdales, but I don't know enough about horses to say for sure.

I was so hot and sticky when I got home that I had to wallow in a lukewarm bath, which cooled me down nicely.... and made me think of a certain Flanders & Swann song.
