Yorkshire drumlins

Perfect walking weather, light cloud, a welcome breeze and much cooler than of late. An easy ten miler through Airton, Otterburn and Bell Busk with fine views to Pendle Hill from Kendal Hill. A small sociable group, just three of us and as always a very knowledgable walk leader. I now know about drumlins, small hills made from compacted boulder clay moulded by ancient glacial action, (and super feet which will save me having to buy a new pair of winter boots.)
I bet the Kilpatrick hills are a good example of drumlins, they often appear in clumps.
