Mist burned off...

by the time I was returning, which was good because it was, again, a scorcher. Still a patch of snow visible on the Cairngorms.
Lots of dragon life, Hawkers, Darters, Golden ringed and butterflies galore Ringlets, Speckled Woods, Scotch Argus, Blues and best of all, green nest holes of the Small Scabious Mining Bee have been opened up. Didn’t see any but the Scabious are not yet in polllen.
Lovely, hot and sunny, with a gentle breeze, so that sitting in the shade was idyllic!
