North Beach
It's been dry today with the merest glimpse of sunshine and a bitterly cold north wind. The light was very flat around midday in Troon but there seemed no harm in trying a couple of shots looking north towards Irvine. Just as well, as nothing better turned up. The sun made a late appearance just before dusk but by that time the home fire was more appealing than another outdoor expedition. Later, on discovering how dull the earlier shots were, a boost of drama from snapspeed was required. It's amazing how easily something can be salvaged from such poor material in these modern times. Normally I'd call that cheating but I seem to be processing more and more shots these days to overcome the limitations of my photographic ability.
