Newtown Station

The Saturday morning round of bookshop, bakery and food co-op with a few interesting sights: a woman calling to a friend across the street to go to a protest, people illicitly drinking coffee in a laneway, a man irate because he wasn’t allowed in to the co-op without a mask.

In this afternoon’s paper there’s a photo of an anti-lockdown protester punching a police horse.

Later we explored Beaconsfield, a suburb you normally drive through to get somewhere else.
