Hellebore

We in New Zealand call these a winter rose.  I've seen some showing in NZ blips, thought I should investigate my garden and see what was there,  sure enough lots flowering.....this one is a favourite, blousy and pretty.
We tackled the lavender bank today, tired and aching backs tonight, but good to have that done.  Should have been done a couple of months ago but wasn't, then Doug had his back problems and so much rain also.  Done now, with just some tidying up to finish off tomorrow.
We've watched some Olympic coverage today.....mostly our rowers, and the road cyclist.
