Colour Coordination

It's been a decent day. Janet went off for some kidney related blood tests and scans, and I went off for a very enjoyable lunch with some ex-colleagues. I've been retired now for six years, but put us together and the banter was like we'd last met yesterday. Nearly all of them have also now retired (one to go, shortly) but it really was a close knit team and kind of remains so now.

In the late afternoon, both of us having flaunted our independence for long enough, Janet and I nipped down to Bristol, to my old stomping ground, and wandered up and down the not-UpFest. UpFest was sadly postponed this year because of covid, but despite this there has been an ongoing project of 75 pics in 75 days (you might have read some of them were vandalised recently, and since the artists were international and now back home the damage was permanent)

I really enjoy the art - it's not simple graffiti. Not to mention my youngest is involved in something similar in Portugal called "Science in Art" as a free-running side line to her phd works. I took a few shots and kept eight. I don't want to blow my spares, so instead they're currently available on my home site. But having reviewed them it was inevitable I choose this one, with these two fantastically coordinated ladies chuntering away.

There you are, you see. I can make a blip without reference to the poor quality of current UK politics... oh, I just have...dammit.
